DAY 1-TAMBUNAN
NOTHING MUCH

DAY 2- BEAUFORT
NOTHING MUCH

DAY 3- OFF TO TAWAU(Indonesia)
It was a fucking 10 hours drive to tawau from kk. we jalan at 8am and arrive at 6pm.
Some cocky people wiLL say "ah..kaLow aku tu 6 jam sha tu aku sampai d tawao".... Ini pasal kami branti2 ...stopped at ranau for lunch.stopped in telupid for 2nd lunch. stopped in Lahad Datu coz my fren need to birak

DAY 4-in TAWAU
WORK! and the OFF TO SEMPORNA(or as the local say,SAMPULNA,tho it feels like the philippines)
Stayed at a lodge by the sea. we were not allowed to distribute flyers here because takut di tikam na kami itu tok!

DAY 5
WORK!! and then off to KUNAK(Indonesia)
Slept over a lousy hotel where all the drunk illegal imigrants were drunk and shouting like fucking dogs in the middle of the nite.

DAY 6-KUNAK
WORK!!

DAY 7-STILL IN KUNAK
WORK!!! KANA SAMAANNNNNN LAGI SA 1st time sa sampai KUNAK.. siaL!!!
I tell u... never go and pay ur biLLs at the bank in KUNAK.. the officers there are like 10 years back. OLD SCHOOL!!!

OFF TO LAHAD DATO(INDONESIA).

DAY 8-IN LAHAD DATO
WORK! EAT! WORK!! EAT!! SADAP KON LAO MEN AYAM DIA SANA DOVIST!!

DAY 9-
WORKED! LEFT FOR SANDAKAN(MANILA)


DAY 10-WORKED!! ATE!!! WORKED!! ATE!!
THINGS NOT TO BE MISSED IN SANDAKAN
a.BAH KUT TEH TANAH MERAH... 1st time sia makan bakuteh ada udang...sayur sama ikan... hehehehe.... and the BA LIN (ROOF GARDEN) .. TIADA DI KK BAYINI! MACAM UPPERSTAR TAPI D TINGKAT 7...CAN SEE THE WHOLE OF SANDAKAN CITY!!

DAY 11
WORKED AND OFF TO KK!!! 3.40 dari sandakang.... sampei d Kekeh 8.30. rekod!! 4 jam 50 minute.... SAMPAI SABAH SUDA BALIK!!!!

just in time for my audition at Shenanigan's for the open mic. didnt make it to the finals... but at least i was able to drink some beer after (at cocoon) ... LOL!!

NAH!!! SUDA!! ADA SUDA POST SA AFTER 3 MONTHS!! HAWUUS!!!

Its been 3 months since my last bLog...

Hip Hop? Or Rock??

Once,I was at Island Bar and sang "Bed of Roses". and then one of the visitors there approached me and said "ko biLang ko hip hop? Napa ko nyanyi lagu rock jiwang?"

Hahaha.To be honest. I couldnt counter his remarks.I was quite embarrassed.

The other nite,I was at Cocoon Club with my friends,and I was ready to dance with my baggy jeans,big T,Nike Shoes and Beannie. But there werent many customers there,so the band asked me to sing "bed of roses" with him (again with the same song). I was tipsy,So I sang.

As I was singing,again I thought, dressing hip hop tapi nyanyi rock jiwang.. hahaha!!! PALING AWUT!!!


I have been thinking,and I dont think I have the answers. but,here's what I gotta say.

Ever since my ears started working,I have been exposed to hip hop music in the form of Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, and Tupac Shakur. The love for hip hop grew bigger and bigger in me as I grow oLder. But aLong the way I found out that MUSIC is not about hip hop,rnb and souL onLy. It has other genres.



I also discovered my passion for musical instruments. Eg: the guitar and the drums. Common sense, U cant really rap while u strum ur guitar right? let me simplify, U cant really sing the chorus and rap the verses of THE NEXT EPISODE with the guitar right?U need to sing with a guitar.So THAT is when I learnt how to sing.rock songs.. jazz... ballad.. contemporary... etc etc....



And u wanna know something? I am a dusun guy,and we are known to have this hatred against another race at my hometown of Tuaran,but I think,my involvement with rock music, kinda became the medium between me and this other race that is suppose to be the enemy of my cLan. Because,Rock music represents their race/ethnic,they listen to this kind of music.......and we became friends because they heard me sang "Gadisku" by Amy Search at school once....hahaha.. PEACE WITH MUSIC MY MAN....

And another of my aunt is married to a Bajau Man and have 4 kids(My cousins) that I love....
