Kaamatan VS God

I'll start with the usual "Its been a while since I last wrote something". I figured that there's no obvious reason to blog because nobody read it,or nobody care about what you write anyway. BUT, I hope I can inject some kind of awareness into the heart and mind of someone somewhere. Somebody who would bump into my post and READ. UNDERSTAND. AND BE AWARE of what I am talking about.

Today is the 31st of May 2011. The grand finale of the Unduk Ngadau, the grand final of the Sugandoi, the grand final of all the Kaamatan (harvest festival) fuss.

And yes, she won the Unduk Ngadau. Crowned the most beautiful girl in Sabah (among the Kadazan-Dusuns). Everybody talks about her. On Facebook, in the newspapers etc etc. And pretty soon she will be on the the cover of some magazine, MAGGI advertisements etc etc . She is indeed beautiful. Indeed she can go a distant with her face. But is she guaranteed a place in heaven? Will God be impressed with her beauty and all the trophies that she won?

And yes he won the Sugandoi. Awarded the best voice (among the Kadazan Dusuns). Everybody talks about him. On Facebook, in the newspapers etc etc. And pretty soon he will be on the the cover of some magazine, have his own album etc etc. But is he guaranteed a place in heaven? Will God be impressed with his beautiful voice and all the trophies that she won?

I never meant to judge him/her or anybody else. Its sort of an entertainment to see these young girls in photos, boys singing their heart out. They make good subject of a photo. They probably participated in this kind of competitions with a good intention. She, to win the free education at the local college and he to win the grand prize and have his own album

So, she had a free education at a local college...

and he, manage to record an album ....

She, never had to trouble her parents for education.. in terms of payment....

and he, becomes famous with his new album.... paid to sing at functions etc etc...

But,does God care about education? ..... Does God care about how famous you were when u were alive?

God is very difficult to understand my fellow humans..... God is complicated.........

Its very hard to have a religion and to have a belief ... I think by now u should figure out why many of your friends or family members gave up on their religion and converted into another religion ... or simply stopped believing to become an atheist ...

They find it easier to stop believing...

They find it easier not to fear God all the time ....
They find it easier not to think about Heaven or hell.....
All they wanna think about is their time in this worldly world ....
How much money they can save.... How beautiful they can be.. How high their education level can be... How many cars they can own ... Etc etc etc..

I know a saying that goes a little bit like this "Its better to live like there is God to find out that there is none, Then to live like there is no God just to find out that there is"

Live in moderation my friends.... Stop going after fame and glory..... It wont mean nothing when ur in hell...........or in heaven .... whichever u prefer to enter.....

Last but not least, Im not perfect.... Im a perfect sinner ... sinful servant of God...Just sharing my thoughts..... Do not judge me... but please try to understand me...... :)
